We announced in several mediums that there are a number of new required dependancies to build FreeSWITCH, including libyuv and libvpx in the Master Branch. We made a big deal of this leading up to the merge where this happened and following the merge.<BR>
<BR>
We want you guys to get this information, so what can we do to make it where people actually see the information they want? <BR>
<BR>
Currently we post alerts to things via Twitter @FreeSWITCH, Full stories are posted to <a href="https://freeswitch.org">https://freeswitch.org</a> which are then parroted to FaceBook ( <a href="https://facebook.com/freeswitch">https://facebook.com/freeswitch</a>) , Google+ ( <a href="https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/110013892794022037793">https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/110013892794022037793</a> ) and the mailing list ( <a href="https://lists.freeswitch.org">https://lists.freeswitch.org</a> ). We discuss large changes like this on the weekly conference calls which are broadcast live via and posted to YouTube on the FreeSWITCH Channel there ( <a href="https://www.youtube.com/freeswitch">https://www.youtube.com/freeswitch</a> )<BR>

If you have any suggestions please let me know even directly off list. We arent trying to have this information we want you to have it. <BR>

Also, as far as the libyub issue goes, the versions of libyuv in pretty much every distro I have looked at are all too old, same goes with libvpx, sources for supporting libs are available for these via <a href="https://freeswitch.org/stash/projects/SD/">https://freeswitch.org/stash/projects/SD/</a>. <BR>

I could not find them on the wiki, etc. I cam no longer compile on OS X due to libyav missing which is not available in homebrew.
