The patent holders do not provide for free use in most situations, regardless if you can find code, it simply is not free. We do provide a low cost option of g729 licensing at $10 a channel (<a href="https://billing.freeswitch.org/cart.php?a=confproduct&i=0">https://billing.freeswitch.org/cart.php?a=confproduct&i=0</a>) , however we can not provide any help on this mailing list at attempts to evade paying for patent fees.<div><br></div><div>Mike</div><div><br><div><br><div><div>On Jun 10, 2014, at 6:41 AM, Pezhman Lali <<a href="mailto:lopl@lopl.net">lopl@lopl.net</a>> wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><blockquote type="cite"><div dir="ltr">Dear,<div>I am looking for a .so to have g729 (transcoding) in freeswitch as free.</div><div><br></div><div>There are some docs linked to <a href="http://asterisk.hosting.lv/">asterisk.hosting.lv</a> where good place to get codec_g729.so for asterisk, not for freeswitch.</div>
