I’ve actually worked at a IXC where we were taking traffic from ${major_carrier_A} and sending them out ${major_carrier_B} and someone else was taking the same call from B and sending it back to A... Which caused major loops<BR>

In the UK you could go direct with BT or Kcom, but this is really only designed for people who are pushing serious amounts of committed and consistent traffic levels. <BR>

Rather than looking at your options in terms of "real enterprise providers", look at it in terms of "who are they reselling?". <BR>

Avoid resellers of resellers, and find the sweet spot between flexibility and cost that suits your use case.<BR>
