For example have usernames rather than extensions for the phones and have users dial a number and enter a pin to 'log in' to the phone, updating a database to which phone they're logged in to, then modify your dialplans to look up the extension in the database and call the correct phone.<div>
<br></div><div>There are many different ways of implmenting this, either directly in the dialplan using the db application or external code through mod_lua/mod_python etc.</div><div><br></div><div>This approach should in theory support all makes and models of phone.</div>

can deploy the configuration to the yealink phones using an http/https<br>
server - may tftp will work on many kinds of phones, too.<br>
