I understand that it remains in control of SIP messages but in the middle of a call there should not be any SIP messages being passed through, so if the proxy server goes down the RTP between the endpoints should keep going.</div>
<div style><br></div><div style><b>Michael</b>, I tried "shutdown now" - it does not seem to work. The documentation says that it will still clean up the current traffic, so it hangs up the call before shutting down. <b>That being said - if I simply disconnect the proxy machine from the network, the call continues as expected, so in this case it works as I need it to!</b></div>
<div style><br></div><div style><b>Brian</b>, we are definitely considering OpenSIPS and other proxies but I'd like to try to set up a system with a single stack to simplify deployment, maintenance, upgrades and such.</div>
