<p> Yeah, Ken. You're actually right. It might mess the sip routing, not the rtp routing. And netfilter(iptables) has 2 primary targets in the prerouting chain - DNAT and REDIRECT. you would obviously wanna use redirect, because it sends traffic to localhost on a predefined port. But i have no idea whether UAs follow sip headers or internal ipv4 data. There is a big chance NAT handling would screw up imho. </p>

The problem you could run into with using NAT rules for this is if the UA on the users side decides to actually follow the contacts and such in the SIP headers...<br>

As long as you arent ‘fixing’ the RTP ports or over stepping what ports are available for the RTP stream, the SDP is unaffected (or can be worked around using a smaller/different range for rtp ports in switch.conf.xml<br>
