<br>pcapsipdump is one of my favorites because it picks out the voip calls and puts them in separate files. However, in your case you may want to consider using tcpdump with a ring buffer and capture all the traffic on the NIC. The reason I say that is because when it comes time to do the analysis you may see other network traffic that coincides with the static you are hearing.<br>
