I have bad experience with combination Opteron + RTP (choppy audio). I think this is due to the size of the cache, for example for your 6128 is 128KB per core and, for example, for a Xeon E5649 is 12Mb per core. I own a 4 x Opteron 6176 (4 x 12 core) and after many tries to use it as Freeswitch server, now I'm using it as database server...<div>
