I am posting this in case someone else has a similar problem with Cisco/Linksys SPA phones and FreeSwitch paging. the problem and solution is:<div>If multiple PBX systems are configured on extensions, for instance, in my case Ext 1-4 was configured for the SPA9000 which was powered off, and Ext 5-6 was configured for FreeSwitch: <b style="font-style: italic; ">Only the PBX configured for Extension 1 can page and be paged. </b>Once I swapped ext 1 and 5 paging worked without having to power up/down the SPA9000, it is finally removed and FS paging works fine. Here is what happens: If I connect my old Linksys SPA9000 PBX and power it on, then turn it off, FreeSwitch paging works on all the phone! If a phone is powered off, FreeSwitch paging no longer works on that phone. Power on/off SPA9000 and all is well. Anyone out there have it working that could tell me the secret?
