Sorry for the late reply... You really should not be using 1.0.6 - it is quite old. Get on the latest git HEAD. Be sure to mv or cp the /usr/local/freeswitch directory before reinstalling. The latest version of FS has an updated default config set and 9198 should be working just fine. <div>

I suspect that if 9198 is missing then 9998 will be there, which is a sure sign that your install is *REALLY* old and is in need of a serious update.<br>
