I don't know that there's anything affected. I have been using FS on a CentOS 6 machine and none of the modules built w/o libcurl have had any adverse affects.<div><br></div><div>-MC<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

I am wondering which FS function will be affected by
"--without-libcurl"<br>
<br>
My simple dialplan tries to "speak" some text via mod_unmrcp. Exact
same setups on both CentOS 5 and Fedora 14.<br>
It works on CentOS but on Fedora I didn't hear anything, no sound
outputs. The debug messages for the speechsythesizer and the
mrcp_client<br>
look normal from the console.<br>
<br>
Is it because of the libcurl thing, or because of the FS version?<br>
<br>
The CentOS FS version is:<br>
FreeSWITCH Version 1.0.head (git-492bc6b 2011-07-23 12-53-04 -0400)<br>
<br>
The Fedora FS version is quite new:<br>
FreeSWITCH Version 1.0.head (git-cd31633 2011-08-17 19-34-22 -0500)<br>
<br>
Cheers,<br>

I am wondering if I need to give the flag
"--without-libcurl" every time when I add a new module to FS

<div>Only when you need to actually re-run the configure script.
Most of the time when you do "git pull && make
install" or "make current" you're fine.</div>
