There&#39;s nothing open about about Skype. The protocol is entirely closed and proprietary.<br><br>They offer an API to talk to the Skype client from another program running on the same machine, but that&#39;s about it. mod_skypopen works by running one or more copies of the official Skype client, creating a virtual sound card and communicating with that from FreeSWITCH.<br>
