The best benchmark is to put some real traffic on it on a real network connected to real VoIP carriers. <div><br></div><div>You can simulate call traffic with tools like SIPp but those simulations are limited. It's better to sketch out your needs before hand and then look at your available options for processing power, RAM, HDD speed, and bandwidth.</div>
