<br>3. 2 core each with reserved 4GB RAM<br><br><br>2 core can handle 20 channels of skype instance. So, 48 Core / 2 = 24 x 20 = 480 Skype channels possible. With power of hardware and proper calculation on this, bandwidth is not a problem, there are many backbone providers.<br>

T1 has 24 channels, so not much difference from 20 channels<br>

mod_skypiax can work only on Linux or Windows, because it needs Skype<br>
clients running on the same machine where FS is running, and there are<br>
no Skype clients for *BSD or Solaris.<br>

After reading all of the wiki page, you should do your tests, because<br>
performances are very much dependant from the machine-kernel-os you<br>
use. Skypopen is most tested and developed on CentOS and Ubuntu.<br>
<br>
Also, if you plan an Enterprise deployment (I mean, many channels with<br>
reliable operation), you must be prepared to invest a sizeable amount<br>
of time to deeply understand all of the variables involved. Or you can<br>

Skype uses it's own codecs, it's not L16 on the net. L16 is between FS<br>
and Skype client.<br>
