Brian,<div><br></div><div>I&#39;ve experienced the same problem. I have several SIP clients registered to one extension on my FreeSWITCH server at home (<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: monospace; font-size: 13px; line-height: 14px; white-space: pre; ">multiple-registrations<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial; line-height: normal; white-space: normal; font-size: small; ">). If one of the clients happens to be siproid it will immediately answer while the other clients stop ringing. It also sends a European ringback tone to the caller for some reason. I&#39;m still trying to debug the sipdroid code to figure out where this is happening.</span></span></div>
<div><br></div><div>My impression is that the primary developer of sipdroid is in an Asterisk world and so does not really care on how the mjsip based SIP stack behaves in other environments.</div><div><br></div><div>Incidentally, Brian West had replied to your email regarding a copy of sipdroid I recently built with the SILK codec. I&#39;ve recently checked in the code along with BV support. I recommend SILK over BV with sipdroid though as BV is a CPU hog. Well, this is partly to do with how sipdroid behaves too. See here: <a href="http://code.google.com/p/sipdroid/issues/detail?id=358">http://code.google.com/p/sipdroid/issues/detail?id=358</a> </div>
<div><br></div><div>The patch includes SILK&#39;s wide band codecs so it&#39;s worth testing against a FreeSWITCH server. I&#39;d like others feedback on the perceived sound quality (especially those with Droids as I hear they have a pretty decent speaker). On my HTC magic you can tell the difference between SILK8 and 16 but I&#39;m not that impressed on the fidelity of the handset speaker. Most cell phone manufactures nowadays (including Apple) don&#39;t seem to care about the primary purpose of the device; a decent sounding phone call.</div>

Anybody here got freeswitch working with Android?<br>
<br>
If so, what app did you use?<br>

I tried sipdroid which looked very good, but unfortunately it seems it<br>
answers incoming phone calls immediately and fakes a ring tone. I<br>
filled a bug report, but it was closed as invalid, so far without<br>
