Looks like I made an error in my first email, so let me repeat the
problem.<br>
If I put the lines:<br>

If I remove those three lines from Bob.xml and put them into
conf/directory/default.xml then emails are not sent.<br>

I would have thought that putting those lines in
conf/directory/default.xml would remove the requirement to have them
in Bob.xml. No?<br>
