<p class=MsoNormal>Greetings – I am trying to startup a freeSwitch on a
P4 running Ubuntu 9.04 “Jaunty”. I know very little about
Linux. I decided to try this after reading the article in Linux Pro
Magazine. I have been following the detailed instructions in the wiki for
using Ubuntu Jaunty, however I have run into an unknown – “Use your
favorite <b>APT</b> utility to get the needed packages”.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>I am good at following direct instructions – but this
statement is too vague for my minimal minimal – did I mention minimal - knowledge
of Linux.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Could someone please give me detailed instructions on how to
use APT utility to get the needed packages – and what are the needed
