Depending on your goal, that might be an easy way to get your problem resolved. You can keep state using the hash api and hash on the conference name or some other useful thingie.

I can't imagine that people will be terribly interested in my modifications, but I know I'm interested in being able to stay updated with the current trunk, so I'll have to figure out how to deal with that.</div>
