It depends pretty heavily on what you are trying to add function wise. If it&#39;s more in depth using the event socket would allow it to be used on any FreeSwitch server assuming it caught the dtmf and acted according without having to modify the core source code/recompile. It might be a bit more work at first but could be well worth it depending on your needs.<br>
