You can store gateway xml in both a user and in the sofia.conf, we don't enforce which ones who can use because that would be a function of the dialplan but you can certainly store them in your configs that way and set the names of a user's specifc gateways in a variable that would be present on each inbound call.<br>

specific, say proxy and port info global, but username and password<br>
are specific to each user?<br>

Is it also possible to specify on a per user basis whether the user's<br>
gateway will register for the provider? Using the example above, User<br>
1 and User 2 would both register with VoIP provider A.<br>
And can that registration happen even if User 1 or User 2 don't have<br>
any SIP endpoints registered with FreeSwitch?<br>
