So, you can confirm that there is a financial advantage?

The other apps I talked about will be web apps hosted in other kinds of services currently offered by the cloud providers, like Azure App Services (which can also host Docker containers, btw).

My concern was that if I had to host FreeSWITCH on a VM, that VM would be used exclusively for that. And we all know VMs that run continuously can cost quite a bit…
