For sure that pull request is not correct and has a bunch of things that are totally unnecessary.

> TLS 1.3 is added in openssl 1.1.1 which is still in pre-release. I’m open to adding in support for it if you wish to submit a pull request to add it (with proper ifdefs for backwards compatibility). I wouldn’t personally look to do it until we are targeting a distro that includes support for it.
