[Freeswitch-users] What concepts in FreeSWITCH did you struggle with when you first started?

The biggest one for me was understanding the difference between context
and sip profiles, and how they interact with the dialplan. Once I
figured it out it made sense bit it took me a while...

Also not being sure of exactly what needs to be returned by the
different invocations of mod_xml_curl. It was not clear at the outset
for every use case for dialplan especially. In fact since the move to
Confluence it seems it is even more sparse.

One more that a newcomer now would find very difficult is freetdm.
Confluence seems to have nothing on this yet there are a few places even
in the British Isles where you can't get a proper SIP trunk (IOM!). For
users in developing countries who might only have access to Analog lines
it's really important. We don't want to have to force them to buy a gateway.
