[Freeswitch-users] mod_gsmopen: are USB dongles the only option?

those mPCIe 3G modems that I tried, are all visible as USB devices,
with serial (ttyUSB) and (when supported) Ethernet devices associated
with them.

So, in theory, the audio signal would also be available in the same
way as with the USB dongle... but so far, I haven't seen such a device
yet.
