Hi again,
as I said, RFC3261 section 25 holds the SIP "rules" on syntax [you will need a strong cup of coffee/tea/...]
As for your example, the addr-spec is going to include exactly one @. Shouldn't you be registering my_domain.com@<some-domain.example> rather than trying to register just 'my_domain.com'?
Something like sip:12%4034 at fs.example.com should be fine. Are you sure what fS thinks you're trying to register?
