[Freeswitch-users] sip-force-expires - any downsides?

Only real downside other than the NAT issue you already mentioned is a
poorly designed phone that may fall off the network and not re-register for
hours etc.
A longer registration period is ideal and its good to try to get it to the
longest possible value feasible based on network conditions, phones etc.
