[Freeswitch-users] using intercept in event socket

Hi
I'm trying to implement this scenario using event socket:
call hits the dialplan
socket application is executed and is answered and a hold music is played.
a new call is originated.
when the new call is answered an announce is played to a-leg and then I
execute intercept on a-leg to bridge it to originated session.
But after calling intercept, socket application ends. Is it possible for
socket application to control the call after intercept?
