Is it an absolute requirement to log directly to the database? There has
been thorough and intense discussion on this list over the years as to why
this is/isn't a good idea. IMHO the best option is to use mod_xml_cdr (see
https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Mod_xml_cdr). It lets you post to a
database and store on disk in case of failure. It's also pretty easy to use
and lets you do logic/validation prior to storing in the db.
