[Freeswitch-users] Monitoring peak performance

Just putting in some instrumentation to my Freeswitch hosts - wondering 
what the best way is to report back on how heavily loaded the system is.

Things like how many call setups over the last x minutes, maximum number 
of simultaneously active channels...

Does the freeswitch API expose any of these useful bits of information, 
or is that best done by CDR analysis or inline instrumentation code?
