[Freeswitch-users] <application="set" data="call_timeout=5"/> VS {call_timeout=15}

The 'set' application sets the variable on the a-leg, while the {} sets the
variable on the b-leg. When the b-leg call is being placed it only checks
its own copy of the variable.

Use 'export' instead of 'set' and you'll get the behaviour you're expecting.
