The Sangoma D150 (http://www.sangoma.com/products/d150-30-400-sessions/)
 costs less that $10/port (at 120 ports or more) and relieves the server
from a lot of CPU overhead.  At about $1100 for 120 ports, I think that it
is going to be a lot less than a bounty would cost, and it offers more
flexibility and performance.  If this is going to be a high volume server,
the 400 port version runs about $5.50/port and makes it a no brainer.
