Thank you for the reply.
I setup and ran FusionPBX for a bit and it has too many features for my
application. I will look through that code to see if there is something I
can learn. What I have is very close to workable. 100% xml configuration
with a voicemail interface for listen, download and delete of voicemail.
I will be integrating this solution with our other systems that will
configure extensions and call routing. For this application while FusionPBX
is quite good, part of the configuration is stored in sql while the other
parts are stored in xml, also, the voicemail interface is really pointed
towards an office environment while what we need is pointed toward simple
VOIP telephone service.

Exploring the voicemail mod using the html interface the http
headers are
not sent correctly by FS or IE, Firefox and Chrome are messed up? My
goal is
to use this interface combined with mod_proxy in apache to "protect"
the FS
machine for a _very_ simple interface into the voicemail system.
All the web pages from the html interface built into FS for
voicemail are
tagged at the top with "Content-type: text/html" without quotes.
All voicemail messages are tagged with "Content-type: audio/mpeg
Content-length: XXXX" without quotes. Mp3 files can be right click
saved
but display binary source/junk in thebrowser window if accessed
directly.
Any clues as to why the header lines are not being accepted by the
browsers?
