[Freeswitch-users] Save voicemail in opus format

Hello. I want to save voicemail in opus codec so that client could listen
it without transcoding.

I set extension to opus instead of wav. Freeswitch started to write file
with opus extension and it content of the file looks diffrent than wav. But
I can playback this file even with unloaded mod_opus. VLC cannot play this
file.

How can this be explained?
