[Freeswitch-users] esl_recv_event failed

What is the significance of esl_recv_event? When can it fail?

In my code, I keep on trying esl connect, when i get esl_recv_event 
failed; Meanwhile somebody(other thread) might try using ESL resource 
and my box is crashing.

Can esl_recv_event failed be a culprit?
