[Freeswitch-users] opus crashing freeswitch?

Hi,
I had to do some quick changes to try and alleviate the problem and I isolated all opus calls through 1 freeswitch deployment. Strangely all the crashes stopped? Before, when the opus calls were distributed among all the switches, it was causing them all to crash every 30-60 minutes?
We never noticed the issue during testing and the crashing seems to increase with volume of traffic.
I now need to try and recreate the scenario in a more controlled environment so I can get a backtrace and report it correctly.
Will come back when I have more info.
Regards
Chris
P.S I just reverted, the opus codec module is still loaded in the above switches.

Revert or unload module?
Open a Jira with a backtrace. https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Reporting_Bugs

Yes, everything works fine when you revert.

If you unload opus everything is fine?

Subject: [Freeswitch-users] opus crashing freeswitch?
Hi,
Is anyone aware of an issue with implementing the opus codec on freeswitch?
We have recently implemented opus and ever since the switch has crashed every hour or so.
The logs show nothing around the time of the crash so I am thinking it is deep in the opus module.
We are running the latest stable version 1.2.23.
Any help you could offer would be appreciated.
Regards
Chris
