[Freeswitch-users] Emulate typical house phone/answering machine

here's how I'd do it:
1. Store the incoming channel ID using db app
2. Have an extension that you dial that reads the channel ID and invokes
eavesdrop -OR- have an on-answer hook that originates a call to a phone
with auto-answer set (and invokes eavesdrop) for a more traditional
behaviour.
3. Use bind keys to bind a key to intercept using the stored ID, forcing
voicemail hangup and allowing the recipient to talk.
Logically sounds like it should work. I have not tested this though.
