[Freeswitch-users] Accessing existing voicemail after FS restart

Check to see if your FreeSWITCH init script is deleting the SQLite
databases in the db/ directory or if the db directory is mounted on a
tmpfs fs.

Or alternatively, you can store the voicemail db inside PostgreSQL or
via an ODBC databse.

Hi Ken,

Thanks for the reply. voicemail_default.db seems to get deleted and
regenerated everytime I restart freeswitch. Is there a way I could avoid
this?

Its not just the sound files, its the meta data thats in the
voicemail.db file in the freeswitch/db directory

If you are deleting that file or tryimg to store it on a ram drive that
doesnt survive a reboot you wont have voicemails later

However, the problem that I am facing is, after having a few voicemail
messages saved, if I were to restart FS, although the wav files are
stored in the storage directory, IVR says that there are no messages.
