Maybe a little late,

But yes, Deon, you are right, FusionPBX is now near to be the best
frontend for Freeswitch.  You can do almost anything with it.

Gladly, after some years of using FusionPBX I decide to develop a
native Billing application for FusionPBX with Freeswitch.  It
integrates with FusionPBX in many ways, not an external instance of
freeswitch, but inside the FusionPBX itself.
