Forgot to reconfigure after installing! libmemcached-dev

This builds fine on Debian wheezy on the current head of the master
branch (just tested).

What version of Debian are you running, which branch are you building,
and is it the latest head?

Can you also show us the output of:
dpkg -l libmemcached-dev
