With FreeSWITCH you have many interesting options. One possible way to
construct the alert system is to send an SMS to the phone with the
specifics of the alert, and use a group page to play an alert tone for
the severity level of the alert. There are other options that include
using TTS to try to group page the alert, or even ones that would allow
for a speed dial to check the alert. The speed dial gives you the
ability to track who has acknowledged the alert.
