[Freeswitch-users] Debian repository out of date

I'm not sure it makes sense to devote developer time into evaluating 
security patches and back-porting to what would become very old versions 
of FreeSWITCH over the approx 3 year life cycle of a Debian release.

If someone were to volunteer to take this burden away from the 
developers then it might make more sense.  But if the current repository 
is kept fairly up-to-date I don't see what the problem is to be solved; 
  users who don't want compile from source can use the repository and 
everyone else can compile the version and modules they want be that 
stable, master, etc.
