Arsen:
1) from what you write, I understand you have a problem with Skype
itself (clients repetedly crashing). Correct?
2) what hardware/config are you using?
3) are you using the skypopen.ko OSS driver?

I never experienced that problems of repeated clients' crashes, they
are pretty stable for me.

My platform of choice (both deployment and development) is Debian 6
server 64 bit at moment.
