[Freeswitch-users] Freeswitch Installation

here is how I install

1. Install CentOS 6.3 basic

2. Disable SELinux - /etc/selinux/config

SELINUX=disabled

3. Some of the following not necessary

yum -y groupinstall base
yum -y install perl
yum -y install crontabs
yum -y install sudo
yum -y install wget
yum -y install vim-enhanced
yum -y install emacs
yum -y install git
yum -y install bind-utils
yum -y install sendmail sendmail-cf system-switch-mail mailx
yum -y install rsync
chkconfig sendmail on
chkconfig crond on


4.FreeSWITCH Required Packages

yum install autoconf automake gcc-c++ git-core libjpeg-devel libtool make
ncurses-devel unixODBC-devel openssl-devel gnutls-devel libogg-devel
libvorbis-devel curl-devel libtiff-devel libjpeg-devel python-devel
expat-devel zlib zlib-devel bzip2 which patch


5.cd /usr/src

git clone git://git.freeswitch.org/freeswitch.git

cd freeswitch/

./bootstrap.sh

./configure

make

make install

make cd-sounds-install

make cd-moh-install

adduser freeswitch

chown -R freeswitch:freeswitch /usr/local/freeswitch
