segfaults are not useful on their own generally check out:
http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Debugging_Freeswitch#Recompiling_with_debug_symbols_on
 which will tell you how to compile with debug symbols, enable core
dumps, and get the backtrace. Once you have this please file a jira:
http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Reporting_Bugs
