When you dial anything, it "hits the dialplan" for that context and follows
those instructions.

This might help explain the dialplan:
http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Dialplan_XML -- but it sounds like the FS
book would help more.

Or are you asking about mod_lcr to do least cost routing with several
gateways?
