[Freeswitch-users] is loopback really 'evil'?

Hi there,

Could someone please elaborate on this (from 
http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Misc._Dialplan_Tools_bridge#loopback):

"WARNING! Loopback is evil and should only be used as a last resort, 
when no other approach is possible."

Need one only take the precautions noted in 
http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Loopback#Precautions in mind, or is 
there more to loopback than meets the eye?
