I don't think that is true. Both the 2600hz (blue.box) and fusionpbx irc 
channels are quite active and I know for a fact that at least fusionpbx 
gets daily commits. Why don't you hop on irc and ask in both channels 
(#2600hz: ask pyite and #fusionpbx: ask mcrane).
