[Freeswitch-users] Voice delay in normal calls

HI Ramesh,

I had the same problem, especially with remote (NATed) phones. We upgraded
our server hardware to dual core (and then quad core) faster processors and
solved the problem. We found that the delay was really bad if two calls
arrived or were dialed at the same time. The multiple processors solved the
concurrent call issue and faster processors solved the issue all around. We
are now on dual hyper-threaded multicore xeon processors @ 3.0Ghz! NO
performance issues (of course). I picked up a used Dell PE2850 on ebay for
$250 with RAID and 4 disks.

Hope that helps.

Sean
