Balamurugan,

be aware that mod_skypopen operate at 16khz signed linear (let's say, at HD
audio level; double the number of samples of a normal PCMU or GSM or g711
or G729 call).

So, maybe you have to tweak the recording or playback parameters taking
this into account.
