[Freeswitch-users] Fs compatible phones?

Unfortunately this is not an easy question to reply.

You have 4 options of non proprietary IP Phones nowadays (at least). MGCP (Skinny), H.323, IAX2 and SIP. SIP is the most widely used protocol nowadays and pretty much any SIP IP Phone available nowadays on the market will work with FreeSWITCH.

If you are looking for more advanced stuff, then you're in trouble and you have to know your stuff to make a informed decision. SIP is a not just a simple standard but rather a miryad of RFCs, each one suggesting a new feature with and it's implementations depends on the manufacturer understanding of each.

Yes, interop is a btich, but at least there is no such thing as a proprietary digital phone nowadays, uh?
